Establishing Shot: In the opening scene of  High School Musical 2 I can see that there is an establishing shot. The Establishing shot used in the the opening scene of High School Musical is a high school, this can be relatable to the target audience because they too, like the characters, are teenagers so the likelihood hood is that they attend a highschool. The audience will see some of the shots that are shown in the opening scene and they may relate to their own high school. This will bring them closer to the film and it will therefore be more enjoyable for the audience.

POV shot: In the opening scene of High School Musical 2 i can see that there is a POV shot of one of the characters when Gabrielle is looking Troy. This brings the audience closer to the characters and film because they can see from the perspective of the characters and therefore a bond is created between the audience and character. As a result of this the film is more enjoyable for the audience.

Close up: In the opening scene of High School Musical 2 a Close up shot is used when trop is sitting in the classroom waiting for summer to come. The close up allows the audience to see Troy's facial expressions and therefore they can see that Troy is distressed and cannot wait to leave the school for summer. By seeing Troy's reaction the audience can connect with Troy as they too may remember eagerly awaiting the summer holidays in the last lesson of the last day of term. This brings the audience closer to the film as they share the emotional bond with the characters and therefore find the film more pleasurable.

This use of Quick cuts suggests to the audience that they are happy as they speed up the tempo of the film making it seem more fun and energetic connoting happiness. The  audience will, as a result of this, want to be a part of the film as it looks so enjoyable. The audience will want to watch more of the film in order to get more enjoyment out of it.

This ambient sound makes the film seem more normal and more like an actual real life event instead of just a film.
