For our film opening, my group had to decide which genre it would be. We had the conversation about what we thought the genre would be via Facebook Messenger in a group chat we have created especially for conversations to do with our Media course to make communication between the group much easier and more efficient.

After having the conversation our group decided that the best genre to do would be a Teenage Romantic Comedy. This is because Teen RomComs are aimed at kids our age so therefore we know what would be good material to put in. Also the settings conventionally used in this genre are very easy to access for our group because we are more or less around them 24/7. These settings being Houses, School or parks.
