I Bet My Life is an Indie Rock song by the American band Imagine Dragons. It was released as the lead single in their second studio Album 'Smoke and Mirrors' on 27th October 2014. The music video itself is narrative with no performance section whatsoever. This is unconventional for the indie rock genre as bands usually like to demonstrate their skill to their audience. The music video follows a young man through a hallucination. The song made its network debut on the 2014 American music awards where the band won the award for Favourite alternative band.
